Wedding Nightmare #3: Two ceremonies, one church

Wedding Nightmare #3
Date: January 31st, 2011
Category: Horrible planning
Dinner: Veggie Baked Ziti, Salad, Garlic Bread

You may have noticed that I am now including a dinner label in my posts.  My stomach and it's contents influence my dreams very heavily.  I want to see if there's a pattern.

Ok, to the dream...I'm recording this two days after so it might not be entirely detailed.

This time, I am at the church where my ceremony will take place.  I feel that all the pieces are in place.  I actually have this really strong feeling in the dream...this feeling that I am about to make a huge change in my life.  And this is strange because, although I view marriage as absolutely sacred and a giant step in life, my fiance and I have been together for a long time.  In many ways, it feels like we are already married.  We know each other better than anyone, we have already established the chores we like to do, and have developed an extremely lovely level of comfort and routine in our relationship.  But in the dream I felt like I was a different person, like getting married was making me into a different person.  And I don't mean that in a bad way.  It was strange, but good.

So the ceremony is underway.  I've been walked down the isle, and Chris and I are standing at the alter in the midst of our vows when people, not involved or invited to the wedding, start coming into the church.  And they're talking.  Absolutely no respect for what is happening in front of them.  We look around, confused.  It seems that someone else had booked their wedding rehearsal at the same time as our wedding ceremony.  And these people didn't care!  And there was A LOT of them.  They just kept pouring in.  It was awful.

That's about all I remember.  There were details/events leading up to the wedding, but the really troublesome part was the ceremony being interrupted by a bunch of loud douche bags.
